Product enquiry
QUINDOS 2025.1 is the latest release of Hexagon’s leading metrology software for special geometries. New features include a standalone CMM Check module, PMI strategy editor and a new interface to Q-DAS eMMA Fusion Essentials. Plus new PTB certification. All this and much more in QUINDOS 2025.1.
Used for powertrains in aerospace, energy, automotive, and engineering industries. QUINDOS’ structured programming tools enable quality professionals to build highly accurate inspection routines on a range of CMMs.
CMM Check II – the new standalone QUINDOS Module
CMM Check 2.0 can be used to regularly qualify and check the metrological accuracy of the coordinate measuring machine. With a new integrated workflow, independent inspections of the CMM can be executed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10360 to provide certainty of CMM specification.
The gauge is suitable for all stationary CNC coordinate measuring machines whose measuring volume is ≥ 500x500x500 mm and are supported by QUINDOS.
The verification workflow also offers results in graphical and in tabular form; the output can also be exported to Q-DAS for further SPC analysis.

QUINDOS PMI Strategy Editor
The new QUINDOS PMI Strategy Editor offers much greater flexibility when creating measurement routines based on PMI data. Users can now create a custom library of probing strategies for individual PMI elements and geometries which conform to an organization's mandatory measurement guidelines. This is huge improvement over other metrology softwares which only allow for one global, predefined set of methods for PMI inspection. Creating custom PMI strategies is now simple thanks to an easy, intuitive user interface and any number of strategies can be saved and retrieved from the database.
New interface to Q-DAS eMMA Fusion Essentials
QUINDOS inspection reports can now be exported directly at the end of the measurement program to Q-DAS eMMA Fusion. This provides the user with a further browser-based platform for data visualization in 3D with in-depth error analysis and real-time monitoring. With full access to 3D CAD report geometry, the report view is easy to share as a link to other stakeholders.
QUINDOS 2025.1 offers other new features and improvements, including:
On-the-fly visualisation of captured points
- Captured points are now visualised during the measurement phase and permanently displayed in the CadViewer.
- Direct visualisation during and after the measurement of one element or for all captured elements.
- QUINDOS also offers the user the option to show and hide temporarily captured measured points directly in the CadViewer or to remove them permanently.
QUINDOS Straight Bevel
- The tolerance classes have been integrated in accordance with the new standard DIN 3965:2023-04 (Tolerances for bevel gear teeth).
- The nominal tolerance for a given tolerance class is calculated for fp, Fp, fu, and Fr on the pitch plot.
QUINDOS Gear Data Exchange Module
- The interface has been updated to the latest version according to the VDI/VDE 2610 guidelines.
- QUINDOS now also supports version 3.4.
Optimised handling for PMI Inspection Planning
- The filter function in the table has been redesigned. The filter function can now be activated via the menu and offers more convenient filters.
- Selection filters and free entry using wildcards for suitable now offer more intuitive ease of use. The filter works additively (AND), i.e., each column filter further reduces the subset of data.
- The probe selection menu has also been redesigned. Probes can now be displayed via the Select Probe directly in the new context menu in the Probe Name column.
New look for the DB Explorer
- Fresher design and new icons for each database object type - now the new default: all icons enabled.
- QUINDOS now offers the option of displaying the number of object elements that an object category contains. This allows you to quickly check the creation or deletion of elements immediately when creating the measurement program.
New controls for the CadViewer properties
- For the navigation Cube, transparency can now be adjusted using a slider in the CadViewer view properties.
- This allows all details to be seen in views without repositioning the CAD model.
- The size can also be adjusted to the user's needs.
- In addition, the user can adjust the previously fixed defined colour for the border of selected surfaces according to his visualization needs.
- Additionally, surface borders can be deactivated on the CAD model.
New QUINDOS ribbon menu for Nexus
- A Nexus menu has been integrated into QUINDOS for quick and easy access.
- The user now has direct access to Nexus-specific commands and can call up the Metrology Reporting and Asset Manager apps in the Nexus portal directly from the QUINDOS UI.
And much more – be sure to read the QUINDOS 2025.1 Release Notes for more information.
